What are the recommended ages?

This collection is perfect for kids in preschool through elementary school. Of course, little ones will need a little more assistance, while older kids will likely be able to complete the crafts independently.  

Does it matter if I don't have a crafting bone in my body?

Absolutely not...all you need is a willingness to share some quality time with your kiddo. We do all of the heavy lifting idea wise. The step-by-step instructions for each craft are clear, simple and include images.

Why buy this collection if I already have the calendar...aren't they the same?

The calendar is a great start...and you can just stop there and still have a great crafting year with your kids. But, if you're like me, intentions are good but follow through isn't always the best. So, let's take away as many obstacles as we can. The collection does just that by putting each craft at your fingertips, no following links or tracking down templates.  

Why is it digital and not a real book?

I love a good book and even the smell of the pages...but sometimes a digital book just works better. In this case, you'll have unlimited access to download the templates as you need them without the need for a copy machine. And, if a page gets messed up with paint or glue...or whatever...you can just print a clean copy.  

How much does it cost?

The entire collection of 56 crafts is priced at just $24. That's less than 50 cents per craft...seriously pennies for something that is truly priceless. You'd pay more for one trip to McDonald's...and this is so much better for your digestion.

Am I going to have glitter all over my house?

No way! This is a glitter free zone. Not only that, but once you fill your bag using our master list of supplies...just 27 basic items that fit into one bag...you'll be set to go. This approach really does help minimize the mess that keeps many parents from making crafts with their kids.  

What size are the flashcards?

The craft flashcards come 4 to a page (8 1/2 x 11). They are the perfect size to fit into the pocket of a craft bag or to put on a ring and hang anywhere you'd like.

Why even bother making crafts with the kids?

Since you are here, I know that you already realize how beneficial making crafts with your kids can be. But did you know that there is actual scientific proof that crafting together helps improve your child's motor skills, cognitive ability and verbal skills.  

Why craft flashcards instead of a book?

Craft books are fabulous (you'll find lots in our store), but I love so many things about craft flashcards. First of all, they're smaller. So, you can grab and go. Also, it breaks the craft down into small, understandable pieces. You can also use the cards as a way of teaching sequencing and motor planning. And they're different than what kids are used to...which means they may be that little thing that helps keep their attention longer.
